Det är säkert några som undrar hur det i hela friden går med våra husbyggarplaner. Just nu är planerna lagda på is eftersom våra besparingar inte räcker till. För att kunna bygga det dyra hus som vi önskar måste vi ha en kontantinsats på minst 10 % och de pengarna har inte vi idag. Därför har vi bestämt att vi ska spara pengar i ett år och sedan se om det räcker, men hittar vi ett hus under tiden kommer vi att köpa det istället. Vi ska på visning imorgon och det är inte ett hus som jag egentligen skulle falla för exteriört. Min dröm är ett trähus med vita knutar och huset som vi ska se skiljer sig från drömmen. Däremot är huset rymligt och har garage. Det innebär att det i princip uppfyller våra önskemål invändigt. Vi är så sugna på ett eget hus att vi inte orkar vänta längre. En del kanske menar att vi nyss börjat leta hus, men vi har faktiskt pratat om hus ända sedan vi flyttade till Umeå för att studera. Tanken på ett hus är med andra ord inte särskilt ny och vi vet vad vi vill. Däremot har vi inte velat köpa hus innan båda två fått fast anställning vilket jag fick i december. Jag håller tummarna inför morgondagen!
There are probably some who wonder how our house building plans are progressing. Right now, the plans are put on hold because we haven’t got enough savings. In order to build the expensive house that we wish, we need a down payment of at least 10% and today we do not have that amount of money. Therefore, we decided that we should save money for a year and then see how it works out, but in case we find a house in the meantime, we will buy it instead. We are going on a house tour tomorrow and it is not a house with an exterior that I normally would fall for. My dream is a wooden house with white trim and the house that we are going to take a look at looks very different from that dream. However, the house is spacious and has a garage. To summon it up, this means that this house meets our requirements internally. We long for a house so bad that we can not wait any longer. Some may argue that we have just begun searching for a house, but we have actually talked about houses ever since we moved to Umeå to study. The idea of a house is therefore not particularly new, and we know what we want. However, we have not wanted to buy a house before unless both of us had a permanent employment which I received in December. I keep my fingers crossed for tomorrow!
