Trettondedagsafton är dagen och kvällen före trettondag jul och inleder trettonhelgen ( trettonhelgen firas eftersom det upptäcktes att Guds son Jesus Kristus fötts som människa..iaf så som jag har uppfattat det). Den firas till minne av att de tre vise männen uppvaktade jesusbarnet på den tolfte natten efter julnatten, dvs natten före den trettonde dagen eller trettondedag jul.
This day is the day and evening before Twelfth day and initiates the Epiphany (holiday) in order to celebrate that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, was born as a human being (hopefully, I present accurate information). Twelfth Night celebrate the memory of the three wise men who visited Jesus Christ on the twelfth night after christmas night, the night before Twelfth Day.
